Tanya Butcher, ATC-LAT, KC, KS Clinic Director
Tanya is the Clinic Director at the Kansas City, Kansas Clinic. She is also a Work Conditioning Specialist, a Functional Capacity Assessment Specialist and a certified XRTS Sincerity of Effort Specialist. Additionally, she provides post offer employment tests and is McKenzie Part A, B, C and D trained. Tanya has over 14 years experience and has served as athletic trainer for various local high schools and professional teams.

Nichole Didier, DPT
 Nichole joins ARC to provide outpatient physical therapy, evaluation and a variety of treatment protocols to rehabilitation patients. No stranger to athletics, Nichole played college volleyball for three years.

Nicole Grimm, PTA
Nicole is a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is a Certified Functional Capacity Assessment Specialist, a Certified Post Offer Employment Specialist and is trained in XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing. Nicole provided billing, human resources and administrative support while completing her PTA degree.

Ward Strahan - MSPT, CSCS

Ward has treated a myriad of orthopedic conditions as well as work comp patients in his ten years as a physical therapist. He has special interest in functional and sports rehabilitation. Additionally, he is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine.

Tya is an administrative assistant in ARC’s Kansas City, Kansas clinic. She specializes in customer service for our clients. When she’s not at work, she likes to spend time with her husband and daughter, attend church and shop.

Scott Peters, MPT, ATC, Olathe Clinic Director

Scott joined the ARC Physical Therapy team after relocating from Chicago where he worked for an elite physical therapy/sports medicine company. He specializes in sports medicine, outpatient orthopedics and rehabilitation. He is a Certified Post Offer Employment Testing Specialist and is McKenzie Part A, B, C and D trained. He has experience as an athletic trainer for various high school and college teams including the University of Iowa football team and the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders junior hockey team.

Kim has been practicing in the Physical Therapy field for over eight years, specializing in outpatient sports medicin. She has recently become certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine. Kim is also a Certified Pilates Instructor.

 Ross has a great deal of experience providing outpatient physical therapy, evaluation and a variety of treatment protocols to rehabilitation patients. He was previously a PT Tech for an inpatient hospital group. He has an athletic background and played baseball for the University of Kansas where he was a Big 12 Academic All-American.

Sue Heimke, OT, CHT
Sue is an Occupational Therapist with over 17 years experience in various settings that include inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, acute care and outpatient services. Sue has worked in outpatient care for 11 years, is a Certified Hand Therapist and certified in the treatment of lymphedema. To further her expertise in hand therapy Sue participates in continuing education courses, is a member of the Kansas City Hand Rehabilitation Special Interest Group and the American Society of Hand Therapists.

 Stephanie joins ARC’s Olathe clinic as administrative assistant with valuable customer relations and administrative experience. She loves working with the public and meeting new people. She has worked in the healthcare industry for many years and prior to that she was in real estate.
Stephanie recently relocated from Delaware (the First State!), and though she enjoys the Midwest, she misses the beach, the ocean and, most of all the seafood.
Stephanie is an avid reader and likes to swim, fish and shop. She also enjoys hanging out with her children.

As a Physical Therapist, Trent is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. He also worked with the Women’s Volleyball team while at Kansas State University.

Doug is the Work Conditioning Coordinator and a Certified Work Conditioning Specialist. He is also a Certified Post Offer Employment Testing Specialist and is McKenzie Part A, B, C and D trained as well as a Certified XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing Specialist. Additionally, he was part of the team that developed the workouts on ARC’s new state-of-the-art website, RedefineAthletes.com and RedefineWellness.com. He has provided athletic training to athletes at the University of Missouri, University of Nebraska, UMKC, Big 12 and championship NCAA basketball tournaments.

Jana Goolsby, PTA
Jana is a physical therapist assistant at the Athletic & Rehabilitation Center and brings an extensive background with workers’ compensation injuries and spinal rehabilitation. Jana is a Work Conditioning Specialist, as well as a Functional Capacity Assessment and Post Offer Employment Testing specialist. She is also specialized in aquatic rehab and is McKenzie Part A, B, C and D trained. Jana has been a student athletic trainer at Wichita State University, a track athlete at Central Missouri State and coached competitive gymnastics. Along with her strong clinical skills, Jana encompasses a personal passion and wealth of knowledge for health & wellness. She is ARC's Wellness Coordinator and has played a leading role in developing wellness strategies not only within our own company, but also in planning and implementing wellness programs for our clients.

Jennifer is the Director of Sports Performance Specialist and is based in the Overland Park clinic. Liz Boyd
Liz is an administrative assistant who has worked in the physical therapy setting for over four years.
She enjoys working with patients from all backgrounds and works to build a personal relationship with each patient who walks through the door. She says it makes the job more fun that way.

Mark is the Topeka Clinic Director and provides Physical Therapy and athletic training at the Topeka clinic. He previously was an athletic trainer at Colorado University for Football and Men’s Tennis. Dave joins our team with over 12 years of experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Lyle Christensen, ATC

Lyle is an Athletic Trainer and Work Conditioning Specialist. Lyle is trained in XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing. He spent many years as an athletic trainer at the collegiate level with various colleges and had a stint with the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe. IN addition to his clinician work, Lyle provides athletic training for the Topeka Roadrunners, a North America Hockey Team. Most recently, Lyle was at High Plains Sports Medicine at The Center for Health Improvement provided by Hays Medical Center where he provided Athletic Training services to four high schools in Northwest Kansas as well providing rehabilitation services in the outpatient clinic. Lyle also has a background in golf fitness, was a three-year member of the Washburn golf team, and has level one golf fitness certification from The Titleist Performance Institute. Lyle served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the NW Missouri State Bearcat baseball, football and men’s basketball teams.

 Meredith joined ARC in 2009 as an administrative assistant. She has developed corporate wellness programs and various exercise programs. She is a member of the Kansas Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Marie is an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant with a background in a variety of settings. Her experience includes outpatient rehab, and she has worked as a traveling PTA in Kentucky and California in skilled nursing facilities as well as with special needs children ages 3 - 21. Marie will assist the physical therapy team and oversee ARC's work conditioning programs in Wichita.

Scott is the Grandview Clinic Director and has 11 years of experience as a physical therapist. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and certified in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine and a Certified Post Offer Employment Testing Specialist. In addition to his physical therapy work, Scott develops programs specifically to help athletes gain power, speed and endurance so they can reach their peak potential.

Lisa Schmidt, OTR/L, CHT

Lisa’s expertise in ergonomics, chronic pain management and neuro-reeducation makes her a key member of ARC’s hand specialty team. Lisa is a Certified Hand Therapist with an emphasis in computer ergonomics. She has experience in a variety of settings including in patient rehabilitation, home health and out patient clinics and has spent time as an independent ergonomic contractor. Most recently she has focused on the wellness aspect of work injury prevention and on work station/computer ergonomics — all valuable contributions to ARC’s onsite services.

Jill is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of ARC’s work conditioning specialist team. Additionally, Jill is trained in XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing. Jill’s experience includes research, fitness instruction, cardiac testing and outreach athletic training.

 Cristi joins ARC’s Grandview clinic as the administrative assistant. She specializes in providing customer care and assistance as well as assisting the clinicians in Grandview. Previously, Cristi worked as the office manager for an audiologist. Cristi, an athlete herself, enjoys playing softball, running and coaching for her two children’s sports teams.

Ben, the Clinic Director, specializes in work and sports-related injuries and regularly provides sports performance training to high school and college athletes. He has held several sports injury and prevention clinics. He is certified in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine and is a Certified Post Offer Employment Testing Specialist. As a former professional football player for the Cincinnati Bengals, and before that an All-American player and Academic All-American for the Pittsburg State Gorillas, Ben has first-hand perspective of what it takes to train athletes for success.

While at Fort Hays State, Morgan served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Tiger baseball, football and women’s basketball teams.

Ryan N. Clark, MS, ATC, CertMDT, Liberty Clinic Director
Ryan is Clinic Director and runs the work conditioning program in Liberty. He oversees and is a Certified Functional Capacity Assessment Specialist, a Certified XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing Specialist and a Certified Post Offer Employment Specialist. Additionally, Ryan is certified in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine. Some of his other specialties include the treatment of lumbar and cervical pain/pathology, nutrition, throwing mechanics, orthotic prescription/formation, and special considerations in pre- and rehabilitating the female knee.

Beth Ferris – PT, CertMDT
Beth is a Physical Therapist and is the Center Coordinator for Clinical Education at ARC. She is also an APTA certified Clinical Instructor for student internships and is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine. Beth has over 11 years experience in workers’ compensation, pediatric, orthopedic, neurological, post-operative and hospital environments.

Dawn Hentschke - OTR/L, CHT, CEAS
Dawn, a Certified Hand Therapist, evaluates and treats patients with upper extremities impairments, often work related. She held a similar position in a hospital outpatient rehabilitation center before coming to ARC. Additionally, Dawn is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

 Tonita is an administrative assistant and receptionist at ARC’s Liberty location. Tonita is a self-proclaimed shopaholic. She also enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.

Corey Fore - PT, CSCS, CertMDT - NKC Clinic Director
Corey is the Clinic Director and a Physical Therapist with expertise in sports medicine, general orthopedics and workers’ compensation cases. He is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine, a Certified Post Offer Employment Testing Specialist and also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Sarah is a Physical Therapist working with a variety of clients, including workers’ compensation clients, athletes and private insurance clients. She recently became certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine and is a Certified Post Offer Employment Testing Specialist.

Sonja Van Horn, OTR/L, CHT
Practicing 16 years as an Occupational Therapist, Sonja specializes in hand therapy. She provides education and marketing for hand therapy and assists in developing team hand therapy protocols for various treatment programs. She also conducts lunch and learn seminars.

Jared Hanson, ATC/L
Jared is a Work Conditioning Specialist. He also is Certified in Functional Capacity Assessments, Post Offer Employment Testing and is a Certified XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing Specialist. He is McKenzie Part A, B, C and D trained. Jared also works as an Athletic Trainer part time for Liberty North High School. Before coming to ARC, Jared worked for an outpatient rehabilitation center in Houston, Texas.

Amanda Eichinger
 Amanda joined ARC in June 2010 and serves as an administrative assistant at the North Kansas City clinic. She has experience as an Administrative Assistant in other Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic settings. Amanda likes to spend all of her free time with her husband and 2 kids. She also enjoys riding four-wheelers, hunting and fishing.

Frank Messina, MSPT, CertMDT, St. Joseph Clinic Director

Frank is a Physical Therapist with experience in various orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation and specialized skill in spinal rehabilitation, both post injury and post surgery, as well as shoulder and knee rehabilitation. He has a background not only in orthopedics, but in neurological rehabilitation and sports performance. He has trained at Andrews Institute (orthopedics) and Rusk Rehabilitation (TBI rehab). Additionally, he is certified in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine and is a Certified Post Offer Employment Specialist.

Kristi Robinson, PTA

Amy Broadhurst, OT,
Amy is an Occupational Therapist working towards becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. She began her career at ARC and has. Past clinical experience in upper extremity rehabilitation with a concentration on providing hand therapy. Amy also has special interest in sports rehabilitation. She is certified in Post Offer Employment Testing. Amy was a collegiate athlete in cross country and track at Southwest Baptist University.

April Porter
 April is the Administrative Assistant for the St. Joseph clinic. Prior to joining ARC, she was a Fitness Assistant and a Customer Service Specialist for an insurance company

April will participate in almost anything if it is for a good cause. She enjoys relaxing at home watching HGTV and Pawn Stars. She and her husband are HUGE Royals fans and attend as many games as possible. April has recently taken an interest in repurposing old furniture and she secretly dreams of one day becoming a hip-hop dancer!

Dave Hagar - PTA

Dave joins ARC as a Physical Therapy Assistant and provides a variety of patient treatment services including work conditioning. Previously, Dave worked 14 years as an engineering technician in the research and development department for an international manufacturing company specializing in industrial hose, automotive belts and tensioners.

Dave participates in triathlons and numerous adventure racing teams. He's involved in the Multiple Sclerosis Charity Bike Ride and Special Olympics. In his spare time he goes gravel bar canoeing, camping and bass fishing. Dave was an Army J.R.O.T.C. ranger and member of the Drill Team.
Isaac Cowart, DPT, Springfield, MO Clinic Director
 Isaac is the Springfield Clinic Director and has a doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has served as a Director of a large physical therapy and occupational medicine clinic in Springfield and has expertise in rehabilitating work-related injuries as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. He is trained in XRTS Sincerity of Effort Testing. He has worked a great deal with aging workforce patients as well. Born and raised in Springfield, Isaac Is working towards certification in spinal manual therapy through the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute.
