"ARC came out to complete the job analysis for our mechanic position. We were all surprised to learn that one of the tasks of the job included lifting a dump truck tire weighing nearly 150 pounds, into the bed of a truck. ARC's ergonomic experts brought this to our attention. We rigged our work trucks with a jib crane and were able to eliminate the need to lift the tire. We lowered the maximum lift from 150 pounds to only 50 pounds which reduced the risk for injury significantly."
